hair

type: thick, coarse, wavy & long

color: currently gold. (my hair changes colors from time to time i like to express myself.)  this is the closest most natural color my hair has been since i was a child.

care: i try to air dry my hair as often as possible. i also prefer using vegan or very natural products. i try i do not always do. since my hair is vary thick i wash it every third or fourth day.
one hair student said "you have enough hair for a small country!"
other funny comments include "you have really, really thick hair!." my reply "thanks how observant of you!"
and my personal favorite
"what ethnicity are you?" she was serious i couldn't help but tilt my head and stare blankly at her.

salon & stylist: i have been on and off with ashlee raybould for years. she is a hair genius! i don't know many stylists who can do both a great cut and smashing  color! to my picky standards that is she is also fun, patient, kind and puts up with my neuroses. she never gets mad or bugged when i cheat on her. i have gone to a beauty school on occasion to save $ or had to go to a client i advertised for. or come in with grease ball hair.she knows i'll always come back, usually to fix someone else's dreadful mess.  she is the such a pro and really wants me to love my hair! sometimes i have to sleep on my hair before i'm in love with it. she and her husband  own array salon click to visit website they recently opened shop last year. i love the people, vibe, location and the fact that they constantly keep up with new training and techniques from hair gods!

here is our current style.

such a fine and natural weave. i was worried about
going back to a weave style. i've
had a solid color or melt/ombre hair the past 5 years.
